How did the Israeli firm hack the phone?

According to the British newspaper The Guardian, the Israeli firm (Pegasus) carried out the hacking work through software.

The software works like a virus to hack mobile phones, and the Israeli firm has done so much research on it that the software is now capable of entering mobile phones automatically.

The report said that initially the software was sent in the form of a virus, but now the software itself enters the mobile, taking advantage of the flaws in the mobile operating system.

According to the report, the (Pegasus) software can enter any iOS and Android phone operating system due to a slight glitch in the mobile. And accesses all kinds of mobile data without the user or the company running the operating system realizing anything.

After entering the mobile, the said software accesses all kinds of data including photos, videos, phone numbers, emails and speakers and sends a copy to the company.
